There are several reasons why this particular type of kid’s bed is getting more attention from parents. One reason why they have become so popular is the fact that kids love the idea of sleeping on a bed with a slide. Although it may sound a bit strange, the truth is, kids really love the idea of being able to slide down on the bunk bed with slide.
One of the main reasons why parents have started to buy these kids beds with slide in the past few years is because of the space issues in their kids’ bedrooms. Usually, kids bedroom is placed at the bottom of the building and the upper level is a detached room. A twin bed is usually placed at the top of the bunk. However, both twin and full beds can be placed on this room’s upper level. And what’s more, there are now bunk bed with slide options, which allow kids to choose whether to let curtains or blinds slide down.
Another reason why this particular option is getting popular nowadays is because the kids are concerned about safety. Some parents are thinking of buying a sliding bunk bed with slide because kids can be clever enough to open the doors while lying on the bed. If there is a close proximity, the child could get his hand inside the box spring. Consequently, a fall of any kind is inevitable.
The problem is not just a physical one. A child could easily get injured if he gets his hands or feet caught up in the box spring. So, having a slide on the childrens bunk beds feature is essential. Moreover, if the kids are old enough, they might be interested in opening and closing the door themselves. This will keep them away from the risk of suffocation.
The market is offering two types of kids beds with slide – single and double. The double type has drawn. This will allow the parent to lower the drawers on one side while keeping the top, open for convenience. The bottom bunk beds with slide also have drawn. But it’s more convenient for parents to have just one. Therefore, kids beds with slides are very popular.
The cabin beds with stairs option are also very popular. The Sierra twin bed with stairs option comes with two steps that lead to the upper bunk. The best part is that these stairs can be adjusted so that you can customize them to the height you need. There are different levels of stairs that can be installed so that the kids can have their own choice.
Another important thing that kids would like to have is a view deal. This is a sliding glass window that extends from the footboard. It will give the kids’ a view of what’s below or above them. If you have this option, then it is more convenient. However, the wood plank that is used for the footboards needs to be coated with fiberglass. This will make the wood board resistant to scratches and breaks.
The bottom bunk bed with slide also comes with a storage low bunk bed with slide option. The storage low bunk bed with slide comes with a mirrored box spring. This will create an illusion that the room is bigger than what it really is. It will look like the drawers under the box spring are moving. When the kids open the drawers, they’ll see a cubby hole that contains a wardrobe.
